Employee Recognition Program
We've developed an employee of the Quarter/Year selection process that recognizes employees who demonstrate work qualities in line with Ace Gutter core values.
Overview
Eligibility for Employee of the Quarter/Year
BOMs and HR Manager nominate employees to be considered for Employee of the Quarter. The Leadership team meets to evaluate the nominations and select the recipient. The selected recipients will receive pre-determined recognition and awards. The Employee of the Year is selected from the recipients of Employee of the Quarter for that year.

Nominations
Nomination forms must be turned in by the 5th of the month following the quarter close to the HR Clerk. The nomination form should include specific example(s) and details about how the employee has gone above and beyond to fulfill a specific aspect of our core values.
Qualities to consider when nominations are submitted:
If no nominations are submitted from the BOMs or HR Manager for the Employee of the Quarter, nominations will come from the leadership team. Eligible employees nominated within the year, but not selected will automatically be considered in subsequent quarters for that year.
Our rewards program is a key part of our company culture and our commitment to our employees and core values. It's our way of showing our employees that we value the hard work and dedication they bring every day. There's no room for complacency here, and this program helps drive that message home. We expect excellence and we're willing to recognize it when we see it.

Employee of the Quarter
The Employee of the Quarter nominations will be evaluated by the HR Manager to determine which nominations meet the basic eligibility criteria. Those that meet the basic criteria will be sent to the leadership team, as well as those prior nominated but not selected. The leadership team will evaluate all eligible nominations and select the award recipient on the following schedule:
The leadership team will meet around December 1st each year and select the Employee of the Year. BOMs will provide input on the employee of the year to assist the leadership team in selecting the Employee of the Year.
Employee of the Quarter Award:
The employee’s Manager and HR Director will be responsible for giving the award to the employee at an appropriate setting within the area:
The Employee of the Quarter will be announced in the company Google Chat. They will also be featured in an Ace social media post, and their picture, showcasing them in action, will be displayed on the corporate office Wall of Fame.
Employee of the Year
The leadership team will meet around December 1st each year and select the Employee of the Year. BOMs will provide input on the employee of the year to assist the leadership team in selecting the Employee of the Year.
Employee of the Year Award:
The Employee of the Year will be announced in the company Google Chat and featured in an Ace social media post.
